Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross Hybrid Course with EFA: participants will have the opportunity to be certified in both the Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross through this hybrid course.
Bronze Medallion Course Description:
Bronze Medallion is a program that teaches the fundamentals of water rescue, focusing on judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness. It's a practical and physically demanding course that prepares individuals to respond to various water rescue situations. The course content includes water safety, rescue techniques, and the ability to make informed decisions in and around water.
Bronze Cross Description:
Bronze Cross builds upon the skills learned in the Bronze Medallion, focusing on advanced lifesaving techniques and preparing candidates for assistant lifeguard roles or further training like National Lifeguard and Instructor certification. It emphasizes teamwork, communication, and active surveillance in aquatic environments.
EFA Training: EFA training focuses on recognizing and managing emergencies, including shock, external bleeding, heart attack/angina, stroke/TIA, and more.
**Age Requirements: 13 years or older OR turning 13 before the end of the course dates.
