When can I register my child?

Our 2026 Winter registration opens on Saturday, January 3rd. Shark Bait lessons begin on January 13th and Saturday swim lessons will begin January 17th.

I am not sure what level I should register my child?

If you are unsure of what level you should register your child, please take a look at the resources below:

Swimmer 1 through 6 At-A-Glance
Preschool 1 through 3 At-A-Glance (Preschool 4&5 not offered)

If you still have questions regarding placement, please do not hesitate to contact Brenna Maddalena at coachbrennar@gmail.com.

Do you offer private lessons?

Private lessons are limited and only available at the discretion of the Head Coach. If you feel this option would better suit your child, please contact us.

Offered based on several factors such as instructor availability.

My child is registered in the Shark Bait program. Do they have to attend both Tuesday and Thursday lessons?
  • Ideally yes, lesson plans are designed for swimmers attending two thirty-minute sessions per week.

Are parents allowed on deck during the lesson time?

Yes! Parents may sit in the bleachers. However, please consider:

  • Staying away from the pool edge to avoid distracting instructors.

  • Keep pathways clear for lifeguards.

  • Remember: No outdoor footwear on deck.

For Preschool levels - is a parent/guardian required to get in the water?

For Preschool 1 - We encourage the parent to participate if they feel it's in the best interest of their child's learning experience. Once the swim instructor feels the child no longer needs the support of a parent/guardian in the water, they have permission to ask you to observe from the bleachers during the next lesson.

Preschool 2&3 should not require a parent in the water.

Can a child move groups during swim lessons?

Yes, can be moved during the lesson period to a group that is more accomodating to their skill level. We want to make sure all swimmers are happy and comfortable in the water!
